Hi, I'm Burak

I'm a Software Engineer at Microsoft working on Postgres extensions. I'm currently located in Ankara, Turkey. I'm interested in databases, query engines, and observability (thanks to my previous job). Currently, my focus is Postgres and Apache DataFusion.

Other than that I love F1, One Piece and have intake of unhealthy amounts of pizza (this is a struggle). Writing technical articles for deepening my understanding of them and hopefully helping people learn some stuff a bit were my goals for a long time and this website serve this purpose 🤞
